Me on Meet the Teacher Day!

Hello, my name is Mahit. I love being in second grade in Mrs. Evans class because she's an amazing teacher. In the beginning of the year, we got to do Market Day and my group chose to create Pet Rocks to sell to the school.

Now, I am going to tell you about my hobbies. My most favorite movies to watch are from the Star Wars series. On Friday, I got to choose what the class wore to celebrate my week as Star Surfer. I chose Star Wars! I enjoy watching it with my dad. I hang out with my older brother a lot and I play board games and video games with him. I love to play football and my favorite team is the New York Giants and my number one player is Eli Manning. Another thing I like to do in my free time is building Legos. I have built over 50 sets of Legos up till now. At school, Erik is my best friend and I like to play tag with him at recess.

Among my favorite foods, pizza and ice cream are my best. Sometimes I help my mom bake pizza in the oven and it's a lot of fun for us. Recently I went to London and that was a very exciting trip for me as I got to see the London Bridge and Buckingham Palace. For New Year's, I went to Universal Studios Hollywood and got to experience the very popular Harry Potter ride. It was awesome!

Reading is another activity that I enjoy a lot. It’s the best!
