Hi! My name is Mariah and I like Pokemon and Roblox and this is my blog. Here is a picture of my class in 2nd grade.

I have so much fun at school and I love doing IDR at school!!!!! IDR is where we get to read any type of book we want! My favorite type of book is the Bones series. We also have parent Mystery Readers that come in on Fridays. My mom came in and read funny books about pirates.

But I also love games and I love having a computer and I now got some codes like HaxOrz Firefox TinyShiny and thats all codes. What is your favorite thing to do at school? Bye!

When we practice math, I love Prodigy! Here is me teaching the class a math problem.

Have you watched Rogue one a Star Wars story? Well I have and it’s awesome! What’s your favorite sport? My teacher is Mrs. Evans and she’s the best!!!! I hope you get her for 2nd grade. If you know who Parker is, great because he’s my BFF. I love Amulet books and I have read book seven...it’s awesome! We have a huge TV in our classroom...it’s crazy!  We also have 4th grade buddies and mine is Ocean. Look at our picture of us doing a STEM challenge!

My school is Star Academy and there are 600 kids in the school it is crazy! How was your Christmas? Mine was great! I like Pete the Cat books, they’re fun! What’s your favorite thing to do at school?

Zachary's Blog!

Hi! My name is Zachary. I like Star Wars and Minecraft. At school I do math and my BFF is Timmy and what is 7+7=? 8+8=? 9+26=?

In November, we learned about immigration and family history. We got to have a Family Feast to celebrate! Here’s me eating yummy food and my favorite part of the feast were the Cheetoes!

Each week we are Star Surfers, we get to pick our “Dress for Success” clothing on Friday! One of my favorite days was costume day and below is a picture...can you guess which one I am?

Also at school, I am a Stars in Motion leader. We get to lead the whole school including 2nd grade! It's so fun. Watch my video!

Parker's Blog

Hi! My name is Parker! I am in 2nd grade and I am in Mrs. Evans’ class. In school, my favorite subject is math and I love double-digit subtraction. I think it’s easier than double-digit adding. My grandpa got to come and be a mystery reader in our classroom. He read about chameleons and here is a picture.

I went to Disney World in the week of my star surfer week. My favorite ride was a ride called the Rocking Roller Coaster. It was my favorite ride because it went upside down and it went very FAST. This is a picture of the ride at Disney.

My favorite Disney character is Goofy because he is funny. Football is my favorite sport to play with my dad.

Is it 2017 already!?!? Holy cow!! We are already in the New Year and we're making our way well into the flow of 2nd grade routines. We had some great experiences in the month of December from leading Stars In Motion as 2nd graders, to our very first Evans School Store! Such a fun time at Star Academy.
